Adapted from the Rafiki Bible Study on Genesis, these lessons are designed to guide Sunday school teachers through teaching Scripture, allowing them to optimize their preparation time and teach effectively. Each lesson includes step-by-step instructions and scripted notes written and edited by Reformed theologians.
The set contains versions for Adults (high school+), Junior High (7th-8th grade), Primary (3rd-6th grade), and PreK-2nd grade, including ideas for group activities for the children's lessons; and one copy of R. Kent Hughes' commentary Genesis: Beginning and Blessing (part of the Preaching the Word commentary series).
In his commentary on Genesis, R. Kent Hughes offers a fresh look into this book of the Bible, giving us our first tastes of God’s enduring faithfulness that shines throughout the entire Bible and salvation history. This book is part of a series of commentaries from Crossway—Preaching the Word—that are written by pastors for pastors, as well as for all who teach or study God’s Word.
R. Kent Hughes (DMin, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is senior pastor emeritus of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois, and former professor of practical theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hughes is also a founder of the Charles Simeon Trust, which conducts expository preaching conferences throughout North America and worldwide. He serves as the series editor for the Preaching the Word commentary series and is the author or coauthor of many books.
