Overview: “It is the duty of good education to arrive at wisdom by means of a definite order.” – St. Augustine
The two goals of Early Childhood Three (EC3) are the acquisition of phonics and arithmetic skills and the joy of becoming a life-long learner. Phonics and cursive handwriting along with basic arithmetic skills are taught in an environment rich with the truth of the scriptures and the beauty of literature, science, history, music, and art.
EC3 Teacher Manual provides instructions on how to coordinate the components of the curriculum along with a general scope and sequence, daily schedule, and daily calendar script. Five appendices further explain the why and how of components and provide songs, poems, and chants that support the lessons.
