The goals of Early Childhood Two are to further develop in children a love for God, an increasing understanding of who God is and what he has done for them, and a desire to please him as they learn aspects of his character and the world he has made. These goals will be accomplished through daily modeling by teachers and implementation of the curriculum, which enhances children’s development across critical domains—cognitive, language, numeracy, motor, social, and spiritual— through group and individual activities that inspire curiosity and problem-solving.
EC2 Teacher Text includes 40 units taught in weekly, detailed lesson plans which include student objectives, biblical worldview integration, materials needed, introduction, action songs, centers descriptions, and methods for daily lessons incorporating pre-literacy, pre-math, fine/gross motor, and unit activities. Reproducible student worksheets are included.
Alphabet cards include 30 8.5 X 5.5” cards —26 letters and 4 consonant digraphs—each displaying upper and lower case manuscript letters under a key picture/image and word that begins with the letter/phoneme.
EC2 Covenant Key Word Cards enhance the EC2 study of the covenant through alphabetical keywords, these 8.5" x 11" cards have original watercolor pictures and letters of the alphabet that begin the keyword. The back of each card defines the keyword, points to where it is found in Scripture, and explains how that word helps to tell the powerful story of God’s covenant.
