We are excited to introduce our new format!
This Rafiki Bible Study has been beautifully redesigned as a spiral-bound edition with durable covers. Now available as individual copies, this new format is perfect for personal study or group use. Each study includes two introductory lessons (The Chief End of Bible Study: Thinking Right Thoughts about God and What is the Bible about?).
The Rafiki Bible Study on Lamentations (2 lessons) focuses on how God is faithful to keep his promises, including judgment; and that until Christ returns God's people live like aliens and strangers on the earth—suffering, waiting, and hoping. The study on Ezekiel (8 lessons) discusses how the work of God's spokesman is judged not by success but by faithfulness; God calls us to be faithful in delivering his message even if the manner makes us look silly and the content makes us look harsh. The Lord builds on the ruin of our lives; his deliverance and restoration is gracious, undeserved, extravagant, and immeasurably kind. Each lesson includes notes on the text and questions for discussion written and edited by reformed theologians.
The commentaries recommended to accompany this study are Jeremiah and Lamentations by Philip Graham Ryken, and Ezekiel by Iain Duguid, each sold separately.
