The Rafiki Bible Study on Hosea (2 lessons) focuses on how the covenant between the Lord and his people is mirrored by the covenant of marriage; that sin is spiritual adultery and God's punishment is severe, yet his compassion outweighs the sins of his people. The study on Joel (2 lessons) explores Joel's admonishment that Israel reset their focus on God in the midst of catastrophic calamity by repenting of sin and renewing their hope in his covenant faithfulness. The study on Amos (2 lessons) demonstrates how the only well-founded assurance of a secure position with God is valid evidence of genuine commitment to holy living—being a people committed to making him known. The study on Obadiah (2 lessons) focuses on pride as a subtle seduction that promises full-blown autonomy, but delivers utter destruction. God will have the last word in the judgment of all nations. Each lesson includes notes on the text and questions for discussion written and edited by reformed theologians.

The commentaries recommended to accompany this study are Hosea by Richard Phillips and The Minor Prophets: Hosea-Jonah by James Montgomery Boice, each sold separately.
